The best (s) OT:
1. relatively free of stress at work
2. OT school is pretty simple (and I will) call the program No. 1 in the country and not fair
3. I do not think that this is never a problem finding a position OT
4. Money is not bad, even for novice therapists. Of course, much of it depends on how you want to work in

Private hospitals and pediatric clinics to pay less:
approximately $ 40-50k/yr

LA County Jobs (hospitals and other orgs)
approx $ 70k/yr

SNF services (skilled nursing)
This refers to really depend on how companies are smart, but there is much room for negotiation.

When I could negotiate a young graduate student who received the payment of $ 80K in the subway to Cathe area, but I have heard many colleagues who are naive as little as $ 50k/yr. They must learn to stand up for yourself!

The worst thing (s) OT:
1. No one has heard of his profession
2. When one of his profession who listens to you and see or do not really understand the significance of what you are doing.
3. There is a salary cap that most therapists success fast enough (even if your ass off and / or own their own clinic, it is very rare that a salary more than $ 150,000 Grand View) ... So, if you make a lot of money, so stick with the AP.

Best of all, an OT is the freedom of creativity in treatment options. You can take and use all offer some type ofFeature. The worst thing is the possibility of injuries in the workplace.

Elevation is a learned skill and art - you need training and practice, practice and practice.Cleaning layers is not necessarily part of the job - but it is in the toilet training hours and can not always trust someone to do it for you. If you were sick, you want someone to help clean up as soon as possible, right?

1. .. I am the shadow (in a SNF skilled nursing), outpatient (U and could fall into the hospital but it is very similar to a SNF) in hospitals (private and / or county) and Children (if u pleasure to work with children work) or OT school. I put these options B and C are most likely possibilities are the use of ur OT after school.
2.I can not say that I know, OT is growing, but of course the baby boomers age and require our therapy and autism rates continue to rise ... I suppose it should. The problem is that a little OT Pidgeon holes in the fields of politics is ... But the job's over, I think.
3. In the hospital, I would say that in patients (acute rehabilitation) are often the loneliest ... (and only), while looking at the outpatients in general as the best combination of autonomy and supervision, consultation ... Personally I like the most outpatient rehabilitation (although I work SNF - I need $ $ $)
4. I also have a problem with authority, and usually that is why I prefer's ... to interact outside the hospital often w / All the medical staff (nurses, doctors andc) and are still walking on the session of the Uruguay Round and the arrest. Patient will usually feel more interdisciplinary / team on the mutual support (is more the norm but it depends on the hospital) ... Lotsa drama queens in hospitals ... So be careful.
