American Buffalo Gold coin dimensions? - gold buffalo dimensions
Hello,
I have a little problem:
The American Buffalo gold coin, said measuring 32.7 mm x 2.95 mm (according to the U.S. Mint and Wikipedia). Also 24k gold (9999, pure). However, if it mathematically, the result is that one of these pieces have a high grade of 1 ounces 31.1035 grams () in diameter and thickness data / height.
So I have decided:
Volume = Pi x R x D x H
Accordingly, vol. = 3.142 x 1635 x 1635 x 0295 cm
Answer = 2.4775 cubic inch (or ml)
The density of gold is 19.32 g / cc;
Thus, 2.4775 g cm x 19.32 g = 1.53873473 or 47.86 troy ounces of opposition (as opposed to 1 ounce, as it should) evaluate to.
Therefore, as a baseline: Or use something else, that gold is thicker (and heavier "than gold) or the wrong size, or pay 1 / 2 ounce of gold was free (very unlikely)!
I would be glad if someone throw light on the case!
Thank you very much,
Kramsor
